Here’s a few FAQ’s about what to expect.

How long does a service go for and what can I expect?

Our services run for 90 minutes. They are very lively with music and singing at the start led by our live modern band and singers. During the service you will hear about what is happening around the church community, in particular key events coming up. An offering is taken (see below) followed by a 30min message from one of our preaching pastors. Our messages are aimed at applying the truths and wisdom of the Bible to every day life and are communicated in a fun and fresh way.

Where do I park?

There are car parks at the bottom of Kempston Street, Clifford Street and Lambert Street, all of which are just £3.50 for a full day and can be paid on site or accessed through the Phone & Pay App. There is also parking at the Q Park at the Royal Liverpool Hospital which is £5 for 3 hours, and on-street parking near the building is free after 6pm! What happens for kids during the service?

We have Whizz Jnrs for children aged 1 (who are confidently walking) to 4, and Whizz Kids for 5 to 11 year olds. You will sign your child in to the programme before the start of the main service (check in opens 20 minutes before the service is due to start) and take them through after worship where they will have a blast with our brilliant Whizz Kids Teams! You can collect your child after the service.

I have a baby – is there a parenting room?

We have a lounge attached to the main auditorium with couches, some baby toys and a live audio stream so you don’t have to miss out on the service!

What time should I get to church?

Aim to arrive around 20 minutes before the service so you have time to park your car, check-in your kids to Whizz Kids, grab a coffee and find your seat.

Can I sit anywhere?

Yes – our friendly host team are there to help you find a seat if you wish.

What do I have to wear, and do I have to bring anything?

Come as you are, you could bring a Bible and notepad for taking notes if you want to.

Do you have disabled parking and seating?

We have a lift at the back of the building which can be easily accessed through our back entrance (42 Devon Street). This will take you to the auditorium where our friendly host team can help you find a seat. Our wheelchair-friendly toilet is also accessed through this entrance.

Do I have to pay to attend church, or will I be asked for money at any time during my visit?

Everyone is welcome to attend church and there is no cost to attend. We do receive an offering as part of our services which is entirely free-will. No one is under compulsion to give at any time!

Can I let someone know I’m coming?

Of course! You can Plan Your Visit and one of the welcome team will watch out for you to say hi.
